Dr. Benjamin Feinstein
Executive Director
Dr. Benjamin Feinstein is Vegas Vista Academy’s executive director. In his past, he has been the founding IB Coordinator at South High School (Ohio), the founding Middle School Head at the Adelson Educational Campus (Las Vegas), the Interim Head of School at Island Pacific Academy (Hawai‘i), and the founder and director of three nonprofits. He has spent the last 16 years organizing and running community service projects with and for families in the greater Las Vegas area.
Gretel Valdes
Director of Operations
With a bachelor’s in Creative Writing, Gretel brings not only her passion for using her words to make a difference, but also a dedication to serving the Spanish-speaking communities in Las Vegas. She was a founding member of the Alpha Alpha Alpha National Honor Society for First-Generation College Students at Linfield University, allowing her to recognize the importance of emphasizing the achievements of first generation students. As a cat enthusiast, she dedicates time volunteering at the Animal Foundation here in Las Vegas, Nevada, as a means of giving back to her community. As Office Manager, she hopes to impact the lives of students and those around her with her devotion to accessible and effective education.

Greta is a proud native of Las Vegas with a deep-rooted commitment to her community. With a passion for connecting people and fostering meaningful partnerships, she plays a pivotal role in building bridges between Vegas Vista Academy and local organizations. Whether it’s planning vibrant events or nurturing collaborations, Greta’s enthusiasm for bringing people together shines through in everything she does. Her dedication to creating positive change makes her an invaluable part of the Vegas Vista team, always working to strengthen ties and make a lasting impact on the community.
Angela Colbert
Assistant Director
Angela Colbert, M. Ed., is a native of Louisiana and resided in Wisconsin for approximately 38 years. She relocated to Vegas last year and brings over 16 years of rich and diverse experience in both public & private schools, spanning leadership as a K-8 school principal, human resources, corporate recruitment, and executive administration within both nonprofit and corporate sectors. Angela is dedicated to empowering growth and achievement and serving families and communities in North Las Vegas. She is a mom of three adult children, enjoys listening to music, spending time with friends, family and learning all things new in Vegas.
